“I look at every client as a separate story/work of art. I want the images I capture from their particular story to be unique to them. I observe them with each other; with family and friends. I purposely attempt to shoot images of their wedding that reflect their lives and personalities. This determines not only what I shoot but how I shoot it. I love the challenge of that!”
She is passionate about giving 100%. She insists on meeting with clients prior to the event because she believes the more she learns, the better she will tell their story in pictures. “Their choices about location and details tell me even more about them as individuals.”
“Most of the time I am shooting for the client as if I were in their shoes...asking myself what I would want to see if I were them. But there are also times that I react to imagery like an artist. As a trained painter I see everything around me as potential subject matter. This can allow an opportunity to provide clients with images that maybe they would not have expected: Images of landscapes, sunsets, animals, bystanders, architectural details and the like. I think it makes the visual story much richer….and I love a beautiful shot." |
