It was worth the challenge. Now, my photographs are rich with emotion because I’m watching what’s really going on around me. I’m quietly observing and quickly documenting real moments. My images reflect the event and tell a complete story of that couple’s day.

I've been shooting since 1987. One of my favorite things about being a photographer is the ability to make people see things they may not have envisioned before.

I received my Bachelor's of Science in Art Education from the University of Maryland at College Park. For six years, I had the pleasure of teaching black and white photography to high school students. After the birth of my daughter in 2003, I made the difficult decision to retire from teaching to become a full time photographer and mom. I wouldn’t change a thing.

People don't have to ask me if I like what I do. It's written all over my face. I'm truly fortunate to spend the hours of my day creating images that will make a mark in the history of someone's life.

I invite you to browse through the site and view samples of my work. Take time to see what I see. I look forward to your correspondence.
